中国区赛（FE China）
2013年，美国艺术中心设计学院与北京工业大学艺术设计学院联合主办了首届弹力方程式赛车国际设计锦标赛中国区赛，邀请更多的中国高校参加。中国区赛的举办使FE得到进一步发展。2013年起中国区邀请赛特别设立了最佳品牌奖，鼓励学生从设计战略出发进行产品品牌策划与设计，突出比赛的综合性价值。美国决赛总冠军的评选办法也由过去单一根据速度计算成绩改为将最佳车辆设计评分计入总成绩。不断创新的FE，是值得期待的一项高水平的国际性设计竞技活动。
过去的六届赛事，来自国内30多所院校的师生参加了活动，其中北京工业大学、清华大学、中国美院、北京工商大学、山东工艺美院、湖北工业大学、内蒙古工业大学、汕头大学的车队，先后作为中国区赛的优胜者参加了在美国艺术中心设计学院举办的国际赛，并取得了优异的成绩。
In 2013, Art Center College of Design and the School of Art and Design of Beijing University of Technology jointly hosted the first FormulaE International Design Championship in China, inviting more Chinese universities to participate. The holding of the China regional competition has further developed FE. Since 2013, the FE China has specially established the Best Brand Award to encourage students to carry out product brand planning and design from the perspective of design strategy, highlighting the comprehensive value of the competition. The selection method for the championship of the US finals has also changed from calculating the score based on speed alone in the past to including the best vehicle design score in the total score. The continuous innovation of FE is a high-level international design competition worthy of expectation.
In the past six competitions, teachers and students from more than 30 colleges and universities participated in the activities. Teams from Beijing University of Technology, Tsinghua University, China Academy of Art, Beijing Technology and Business University, Shandong Academy of Arts and Crafts, Hubei University of Technology, Inner Mongolia University of Technology, Shantou University has successively participated in the international competition in US as the winner of the Chinese regional competition, and achieved excellent results.
